HousingWORKS March 2017

‘Innovation’ is an important aspect to finding solutions to the affordable housing crisis. This month, we feature several articles that highlight innovative approaches. An article by Janine Kendall tells the story of the Housing New Zealand development in Watervale where successful housing includes ‘placemaking’ and is not just about bricks and mortar. In another innovative housing development (that literally has very little to do with bricks and mortar), Charles Northcote tells us all about Blue CHP’s 101 dwelling multi-storey development that is constructed from cross-laminated timber.
