AHI HousingPEOPLE e-Newsletter
January 2018

Issue: January 2018

A very warm welcome to the January edition of the HousingPeople newsletter, the first edition of the new year.

We thank you again for sharing your ideas and suggestions in the 2017 AHI Member and Friend Survey. It helped us reflect on a very successful year and incorporate the feedback into the social housing industry calendar of exciting events, activities, and opportunities available for our members, employees, volunteers, partners, sponsors, and friends in 2018.

We are very excited to launch the inaugural 2018 Mentoring Program, which aims to facilitate mentoring relationships, allowing AHI members to share advice, knowledge, and experiences. The pilot 2018 Mentoring Program is now open for applications from prospective mentors and mentees from our NSW membership, with applications closing Thursday 15 February 2018.

The first professional and networking events of 2018 are already in the AHI calendar. Read further for more details and register today  to be eligible for the Ultra and Early bird discounts for some of them.

The latest edition of HousingWorks journal, a joint edition in partnership with AHURI to mark the 2017 National Housing Conference, is on its way to its readers and also available online in the Members Only section of our website. We’re now calling for contributions for the March, open edition of HousingWORKS. This year the AHI will continue to support the careers of all members by offering outstanding resources, high-quality professional development services and a wide variety of networking opportunities. We look forward to working with you in 2018.
