Position Description

Housing over 1900 households across Sydney, Bridge Housing develop, manage and maintain properties and provide opportunities and access to support services to improve the lives of their tenants. They pride themselves on delivering a high quality service, building professional relationships, valuing cultural diversity and doing this through a genuine focus on people and improving the lives of others.

 

Reporting to the Director of Assets, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of the cyclical and responsive maintenance program at Bridge Housing.

 

You will lead the responsive maintenance team as well as provide executive officer support to the Director, Assets in regards to the coordination of vacant works and planned maintenance programs, contract administration and contractor compliance management.

 

Please respond to the following essential criteria in your application letter:

 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in construction, maintenance, skilled trades or property project management

  • Intermediate skills in all Microsoft Office applications 2010          

  • Sound understanding of social housing management, policy and legislation applying to community housing.

  • Knowledge and experience with using housing management systems, such as SDM or similar.

  • Knowledge and experience in managing properties to Land and Housing Corporation Asset Performance Standard.

  • Experience in managing compliance to policy and procedure, such as (but not limited to) Workplace, Health and Safety.

  • Experience in managing and leading a team in a call centre environment
